update #01 22nd October 2005. A quick trip to Mildenahll was required to see the NASA WB-57F, N928NA before it departed on it's long trip back to the States. To see four different shots of this aircraft, simply click on the blue numbers to the right! 1 2 3 4:-
update #02 31st October 2005. The start of the winter schedule has seen a couple of changes at Heathrow, namely the introduction of the B777-2B5ER for Korean Air instead of the usual B747-4B5, and Japan Airlines also seeing the B777 replace the B747-446, but this time with a B777-346ER:-
update #03 27th January 2006. Passing through Southampton enroute from the U.S. to Nigeria was this Associated Embraer 120RT 5N-BIU formally of Skywest Airlines.
update #04 21st February 2006. Making it's first apperance at Heathrow in a special livery was JA732J of Japan Airlines. This aircraft will be used almost exclusively on the NRT-FRA-NRT route.
update #05 24th February 2006. We were all in for a treat on this day. Although a frequent visitor many years ago, this Libyan Arab Airlines Gulfstream 2, 5A-DDS made a long awaited return to Heathrow. To see a night shot of this aircraft click here
update #06 07th October 2006. I decided to make the hours drive to RAF Fairford to see the Aviano based F-16's which were on deployment there. To have a look at the shots just click the numbers..... 1 2 3
update #07 29th October 2006. The start of the winter schedule brought one or two new aircraft to Heathrow, including a TAM A330, an Air New Zealand B777. Also making a first visit was 5Y-KYA, Kenya Airways' new B737-8AL with blended winglets.
update #08 28th may 2007. There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding F-14A 159432 which is supposed to be located at Davis Monthan's AMARG facility. The tailless fuselage of the aircraft apparantly arrived by road from NASC Detachment Granite City, IL. Although sealed in a bag, the airframe itself is still on its undercarriage and is pictured here with the code 1K0134
